Tried wired Plain Jane keyboards and mice to no avail, touchscreen no longer working, had to give up and start over. Had to reset both PC's after hours of driver install / uninstall. USB is hosed, I suspect an update did it. I am seeing this pop up ALOT with client devices. I did add/remove from device manager, however I did not try installing manually. They're all typically the same generic Dell keyboards. I tried a different keyboard, but not a different model. Remove the problem devices from Device Manager, plug in to any port any manually install the drivers, instead of running setup for it. Have you tried other M/K to confirm they work and limit the issue purely to a driver issue? Please link another thread, forum or answer if I didn't find it. Can't figure it out and don't have time to blow this machine away and rebuild. I see some similar posts about printers doing this too.
